What is Atlantis University's Scholarship Policy
Scope: Atlantis University
established Institutional Scholarships for qualified applicants to assist students
economically and reduced the overall tuition cost for individuals with a clear
commitment towards advancing their post-secondary education and build a strong foundation
towards their future careers.
Scholarship
Eligibility: Scholarships
are awarded to those students that meet or exceed the eligibility criteria based
on specific circumstances, GPA requirements and/or economic needs for each
applicant.
- The Scholarship Request must be submitted with the Enrollment
Application to the Admissions Department for review and consideration by the Atlantis
University’s Scholarship Committee for approval or denial based on each
applicant’s merits.
- Recipients must maintain or exceed the minimum academic standard
with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate and a 3.6 for graduate students.
Additionally, they must stay in good administrative standing, all tuition and
fee balances must be up to date, or the scholarship can be suspended or cancelled
pending further review. The student must return to the academic and administrative
standings for at least one semester before the scholarship can be restored if suspended.
- Recipients are required to maintain attendance in accordance with Atlantis
University’s Policies.
- Scholarships are applied towards the student’s account ledger per
semester or at the end of the academic program depending on the type of scholarship
granted. The student is responsible for all other remaining tuition and fees
owed.
Disclaimer:
- Withdrawal from a semester and or the University after add/drop
date will result in cancelation of the scholarship. Students will be
responsible to pay for all costs as a result.
- Once Atlantis University exhausts the scholarship funds, the scholarship
will be discontinued.
- Atlantis University reserves the right to cancel the Scholarship
